One of the founding motivations for The Character Company is a scripture out of Proverbs 31:8 where it talks about speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves and defending the rights of the poor and the needy.  For me, the poor and the needy in our current context is every boy that is growing up with an absent father and the impact of that on our families and society is profound. We are currently facing one of the greatest challenges of our time and history will judge us for the way that we are dealing with this - this will be our legacy.

You all know the saying that this world is not dangerous because of those that do harm, it is dangerous because of those that look at it and do nothing.  Well, you have made a choice to do something and that decision will change South African society for generations to come.  As a bonus you are going to have heaps of fun in the process.  You are part of the most innovative, awesome, dynamic and fun-filled values coaching program in history and you are speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves.  You have the right to speak for them as you are taking the action required to back up your words.
